Canete Wins Girls 14 Clays

Nobody had to light a fire under 12-year old, Christine Inah Canete, this week at the USTA National Girls' 14s Clay Court Championships in Plantation, Fla. - as an electrical fire caused some minor disruptions to the schedule and a bit of smoke. Canete, the No. 9 seed, went up against Ellie Coleman, a No. 17 seed, in the singles final and took a 6-1, 6-1 match to win her second gold ball of the year. Story
