TOURNAMENTS
The summer before last Peter played in the National Claycourt Championships and the Boys 16's National Championships in Kalamzoo. Peter has always played in National tournaments beginning at the age of eleven.
This past year, his first year in the 18's, Peter has sustained a muscle injury which has effected his tournament play unfortunately. This has effected his conditioning also.
He is working on getting back to his usual form from the past 8 years of playing top tennis tournaments. His training schedule is back on track and he is determined to play as many top tournaments as possible.

HIGH SCHOOL
Peter was named First Team-All-State in his freshman and sophomore years of high school playing at #2 Singles. He was All-Regional as well.
He won the Michigan State High School Championship title in Division 1 as a sophomore playing #2 singles (his team mate Matt Parks played #1 singles and was recruited by Michigan). In that States final match Peter defeated David Seyferth (who was 2 years older, and who is playing for Northwestern this coming year.)
As a freshman Peter was named MVP of the team (same year that Matt Parks was on the team as a junior). He is forgoing high school tennis as a junior and senior and concentrating on USTA tournament play, since the level is more competitive.
