Sophmore Year "The Ojai" Team CIF Champions (Crossroads: Clay Thompson, Erich Koenig and Reese Milner)
On May 31st 2009, for the first time in five seasons, the CIF-SS individual boy’s singles tennis championship left Orange County, and moved to the Westside. Clay Thompson, a student of Crossroads School in Santa Monica, defeated Dana Hills' Warren Hardie, 6-3, 6-1, to become his school's first singles state champion.
