Competes at the highest level of state and Southern tournaments, as well as some Nationals. Was selected to the 2008 16's Southern Zonals Team.
At the GA State Closed Championships on 7-25-09. I was the 2nd seed in singles, and my partner and I were the #1 seed in doubles. I won the back draw, only losing to the girl who won the main draw. And, my partner and I won the doubles.
At the Georgialina Classic Championship - GA Level 3, Southern Level 3, I had a temporary sore shoulder issue (that's all better now) that had me resort to serving underhanded! Even serving that way we went to the Finals in doubles.
Only freshman selected to All-county team. 6-0 singles record in region and state playoff matches. Elite Eight appearance. Scholar Athlete.
Cherokee County Athlete of the Week in Sophomore year. Undefeated in singles playoff matches leading to a Regional Championship. Awarded Team Sportsmanship Award. Selected to All-county team. Honor Roll with AP and Honors classes.
In her junior year she helped her HS team become the State Champions with a 5-0 singles record in the USTA Georgia HS State Championship. Nominated for the Sportsmanship award in each match. 10-0 singles and 1-0 doubles in regional matches leading to a Regional Championship. Team went Sweet 16 and ranked as high as #4 in the State. Haley received the Coach's Award.
Selected as HS Varsity Team Captain her Senior year. She helped her HS team become the State Championship Finalist by going undefeated in singles in the USTA Georgia HS State Championship. Haley's HS team won the Regional Championship for the third year in a row, went State Sweet 16 and ranked as high as #4 in the State. Selected to All-county team. Awarded Team Sportsmanship Award.
Trains at Stephan Diaz Tennis Academy year round in their highest Premier group. Stephan Diaz is her personal coach.
This year Haley helped the Academy become the Champions at the GA USTA Academy Challenge tournament.
