TOURNAMENTS
Didn't play many tournaments during high school, as I wanted to concentrate on my high school team, so as to be able to play to my best level and help the team win. I've also had three surgeries since freshman year, which have knocked me out for long periods of time. Finally healthy though and playing some ITA's and Men's tourneys for practice before starting at community college this fall, where I plan to stay for at least a year, maybe two, before transferring.
HIGH SCHOOL
Posted dominant winning records in singles play during both years of high school play. Didn't play freshman year due to back surgery, and skipped senior year to train on my own at Stanford, under the guidance of Dave Higaki, a phenomenal coach who works closely with John Whitlinger and Dick Gould (my grandfather).
