Conference Highlights
The 2012-2013 Wilkes University Women's Tennis Team won the Freedom Conference Title for the seventh straight year. The Lady Colonels finished with a stellar 19-3 overall record, and qualified for the NCAA National Tournament! The Wilkes Tennis Program is now a combined 123-15 over the past seven years, with seven consecutive appearances in the NCAA National Tournament.
Post Season Highlights
The Wilkes Women's team won their seventh straight Conference title in dominating fashion by winning both playoff matches by identical 5-0 scores. This Wilkes team went to their seventh straight NCAA National Tournament!! This team has not lost a conference match in the past seven years.

Also, this Wilkes team advanced to the second round of the NCAA National Tourney with a perfect 5-0 decision over Mt. St Mary's. This was the third career NCAA Tourney win for the program.

Also, the Wilkes Women's team was named an ITA All-American Academic Team! They finished the academic year with an amazing 3.5 team GPA!
Tournament Highlights
The Wilkes Women's team received their best ever regional ranking of 7 this past year. This team qualified again for the NCAA Tournament!

This team defeated five regionally ranked teams, and also two D2 schools.

Also, this Wilkes team collected their third career NCAA Tourney win!
Individual Achievements
Wilkes University placed four members of the tennis team on the All-Conference squad for the 2012-2013 year: Melanie Nolt, Katie Lynn, Allison Kristofco, an Anastasia English.

Melanie Nolt was named Player of the Year after finishing with a perfect conference record (20-0). She achieved a regional singles ranking this year. Melanie was also named the Wilkes University Female Athlete of the year, and the MAC Conference Scholar-Athlete!

Wilkes University was also named an ITA All-American Academic team. Every girl on the team has over a 3.0 GPA (Team GPA = 3.5)
Coaching Achievements
Head Coach Chris Leicht was named Conference Coach of the Year for the 8th straight year. Coach Leicht led both his women's and men's teams to Conference Titles and NCAA berths this past year. Over the past 7 years, Leicht has won 7 women's titles and 6 men's titles. He has led all 13 of those teams to the NCAA National Tournament! Also, both of Leicht's teams won first round NCAA matches in 2013.

Coach Leicht has a 290-78 College Coaching Record, and holds all career tennis records at Wilkes University. Before coaching at Wilkes, Leicht was the head boy's tennis coach at Danville where he posted a career 57-4 record. Leicht's career overall coaching record stands at 347-82.

Coach Leicht is a PTR Certified teaching professional, and also serves on the NCAA Regional Ranking Committee. He is a full-time coach at Wilkes University, and also oversees their indoor athletic facility.
