Conference Highlights
Redlands is proud to have won 56 SCIAC Championships in the history of our program, including 10 of the last 18. The SCIAC is extremely competitive and regarded as one of the strongest conferences in the country. In the last 13 years, the Bulldogs earned a 103-24 conference record overall while achieving five 20-win seasons during that same time period.
Post Season Highlights
Redlands has qualified for the NCAA Team Championships in 19 out of the last 21 years, a feat matched by few other programs in the country. Over the history of the program, the Bulldogs have won 15 national championships. Redlands has claimed the national singles championship 13 times and the national doubles championship 10 times, most recently finishing as NCAA doubles finalists in both 2003 and 2004, semi-finalists in 2005, and quarterfinalists in both 2011 and 2012.
Tournament Highlights
Earning a berth into the NCAA Championships for 19 out of the last 21 years, Redlands is a program with pride and tremendous competitive spirit. The progam finished ranked in the top 10 nationally in 16 out of the last 21 years, boasts 15 consecutive years ranked in the top 10 from 1992-2006, and this past season earned a year-end national ranking of 17th in 2012. The team won the prestigious Ojai West Region Doubles Championship in 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2011, while finishing as finalists in 2008. This level of consistency is a strong tribute to the team members who put forth the effort and determination in striving to be the best.
Individual Achievements
Redlands has qualified individuals for the NCAA singles and/or doubles championships 12 out of the last 14 years. A total of 24 individuals have been represented in NCAA individual post-season play since 1999. In addition, the program boasts at least 2 All-Americans in 8 out of the last 12 years, including 2 in 2012. Academically, the team has earned ITA Academic All-American honors for 13 consecutive years, earned 47 individual ITA Academic All-American accolades, and has been selected for the prestigious NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship 3 times in the last 7 years, most recently in 2008.
