American French Open Champion is a June Ace
June marks the end of clay season and the beginning of grass season, but it's also the month college players flood the USTA Pro Circuit in search of precious ATP and WTA ranking points. Five current college players won titles this month in the US, while former Division I stars also excelled. Add to that the first American French Open girls champion since Jennifer Capriati, bringing the number of top performers in June to 17.

Catching up with Virginia's Julia Elbaba
Julia Elbaba was well decorated during her career at the University of Virginia, earning National Rookie of the Year honors in 2013 and winning national singles titles. By the end of her senior year, the 22-year-old New Yorker was a four-time All-American and the recipient of the ITA's prestigious Cissie Leary Sportsmanship award. Colette Lewis got the chance to speak with Elbaba - now on the WTA circuit - at a tournament earlier this month in Michigan.
