Countdown: Blue Chip Girls
Share:

When most people think about college tennis, they think about the spring. The spring is the team dual match season where teams play their rivals - and the best teams advance to compete in post-season tournaments.

But Fall is an extremely busy time of year for college coaches. Teams are practicing and competing in fall tournaments, and high school seniors are coming to a critical period in the college recruiting process. As always, some of the most sought-after recruits out there are the Blue Chip prospects.

We wrap up our first week of the Countdown Day with a look at the top girls in the senior class. We have spent the past few weeks making phone calls to these Blue Chips, and they told us where they are in their decision processes. It's still early, but many of the girls are starting to narrow in. Take a look and see where things stand...

Blue Chip Status

The table below shows the Blue Chip athletes and their current recruiting status. The Commitment column shows whether the recruit has made a verbal commitment or is undecided, while the Interests column indicates schools of interest.
