Tuck, Wang Capture First Gold Balls in 12s Winter Nationals

In spite of numerous rain delays in Tucson, Arizona, two players earned their first Gold Balls at the USTA Boys and Girls 12s Winter National Championships.

Top-seeded Tabb Tuck (Mountain Brook, Alabama) won the boys title, while No. 4 Allison Wang (San Jose, California) took home the girls championship at the Reffkin Tennis Center.

Tabb defeated seventh-seeded Carter Jauffret (Wilmington, Delaware) 6-1, 6-1, while Wang bested No. 1 Caroline Shao (Boca Raton, Florida) 6-1, 6-2.
