Litvak Almost Harvard-bound

Harvard would have to wait as New York girl Lena Litvak made her debut at the 2006 US Open Junior Championship.

Partly nervous and slightly fidgety, the bubbly teenager stepped onto court 15, on Sunday, September 3rd, aware of all the family, friends, and local fans who had come to watch her. "Everywhere I looked there was someone I knew," said Litvak, "I tried to keep my head down and stay focused but it was hard."
