American French Open Champion is a June Ace
June marks the end of clay season and the beginning of grass season, but it's also the month college players flood the USTA Pro Circuit in search of precious ATP and WTA ranking points. Five current college players won titles this month in the US, while former Division I stars also excelled. Add to that the first American French Open girls champion since Jennifer Capriati, bringing the number of top performers in June to 17.

Florida Gators Validate Top Seed at Florida Gators Validate Top at NCAA Women's Championship
Last year, Stanford shocked the world by becoming the lowest-ranked team to win an NCAA team title. This year, Stanford was the No. 7 seed when they faced No. 1 Florida who had won the ITA National Indoor title. Florida lived up to its No. 1 seeding in the tournament, taking out Vanderbilt for the first time this season in the Final Four before winning a 4-1 match over the Cardinal.

NCAA Tournament Roundtable - Part I
This weekend, the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships get underway. 64 men's and women's college tennis teams will head to campus venues around the country to compete in first- and second-round action. The winners will make up the Sweet 16 and head to Athens, Georgia, to compete for the team title. Today, our college tennis contributors preview the "Big Dance" of college tennis.
