The global span of tennis is always on display the first month of the year, with juniors and former collegians piling up great performances in Australia, Central America, Europe, Asia and North America last month. All earned spots as top performers in January's Aces column.

Titles Come in Pairs for Many November Standouts
November's titles came in pairs for many of the month's Aces, as the ATP and WTA Tours headed into their off-season and the USTA Pro Circuit ended its year. The majority of those featured are current and former collegians, but the stars of the ITF Junior Circuit, which continues into December, also had a month to remember.

College Players Have a Major Presence at Atlanta Open
The Atlanta Open provided a strong showcase for the value of college tennis, with numerous former, current and committed players littering the draws. At least 30 players representing close to 20 college programs graced the courts at Atlantic Station.

May was full of tennis highlights, with the NCAA singles championships taking center stage in the United States and important ITF Junior Circuit tournaments in Italy concluding with American champions.
