Garrett Stoltzfus (WTN: 22.4) has been studying to become a pilot. He has been training at Goshen Municipal Airport, which is close to Goshen College. Once the NAIA program expressed interest in Stoltzfus, it made sense for him to commit to his hometown school in Indiana.

“I know they have a really good tennis program,” said Stoltzfus, a three-star recent graduate. “They have a good, deep team. I feel like I would fit pretty well with that group.”
Stoltzfus started flying planes at the start of his senior year at Fairfield High through an internship program.
“One of my friends had done this a while ago. He said it was really good and it kind of interested me,” Stoltzfus said. “I was able to work on training to become a pilot for half a day, and then go to school the other half. I really enjoyed it over the course of my senior year.”
