HAMPTON, Va. - One of the courts at Hampton University's Neilson-Screen Tennis Stadium needed a serious cleaning before the afternoon matches on Saturday, March 31. There were dark spots all over the green cement.
From rain? Hardly. They were from the champagne that flowed after HU's Robert Screen became the fifth member of college tennis coaching's 1,000-victory club, and just the third among coaches who have spent time in NCAA Division I.
