Johnson, who did not drop a set in the tournament, defeated No. 4 Rowan Qalbani (New York) 6-3, 6-4 in the singles final. He later teamed with Tyler Lee (Tustin, California) as the top-seeded tandem bested Aditya Pandey (Sacramento, California) and Paxton Au (Manhattan Beach, California) 6-0, 6-2 in the doubles final.

“My mindset made the difference,” said Johnson, who recently won the Junior Orange Bowl singles title. “I felt if I stayed focused it would help me in the tournament. I just wanted to win. In singles, the backhand down the line was strong.”
