September was a busy month, with considerable success dotting the calendar for US junior girls. It began with two US Open junior championships and ended with the United States capturing the Junior Fed Cup in Barcelona. In addition, no fewer than six girls aged 18-and-under from around the world captured titles on the ITF Women's Circuit, while former college stars also picked up championship trophies.
