HIGH SCHOOL
As a freshman, played her first season as a number one doubles team with senior Brooke Fennell. Fulghum and Fennell carried out an undefeated season for the number one seed in division one, East Greenwich High School. In the state final, Fulghum and Fennell came second in the state for the doubles team of the year, earning themselves Second-Team All-State in the Providence Journal as well as First-Team All-Division.
Her sophomore year, Fulghum played singles for East Greenwich High School but unfortunately suffered a bicep injury mid-season and withdrew from the individual state tournament. Nevertheless, she went 10-6 in the regular season and helped her team to a second place overall finish in Rhode Island tennis.
