Florida Gators Validate Top Seed at Florida Gators Validate Top at NCAA Women's Championship
Last year, Stanford shocked the world by becoming the lowest-ranked team to win an NCAA team title. This year, Stanford was the No. 7 seed when they faced No. 1 Florida who had won the ITA National Indoor title. Florida lived up to its No. 1 seeding in the tournament, taking out Vanderbilt for the first time this season in the Final Four before winning a 4-1 match over the Cardinal.
