Conference Highlights
UW-Whitewater has dominated the tough WIAC conference as of late winning consecutivetitles in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 and 5th title in 7 years. In 2008 they were particularly dominating winning by an unprecidented margin taking the conferecnece title winning all 6 singles flights and all 3 doubles flights. The team has not lost a conference match in over 4 years.
Post Season Highlights
In addidiont to their conference postseason play, UW-Whitewater has earned consectutive births in 2008, 2009, and 2010 to the NCAA championship tournament where they advanced to the round of 32 each year in 2008 and 2009 and reached the sweet sixteen in 2010.
Tournament Highlights
The team has qualified for the Midwest Invite (for the top teams in the Midwest) each of the last four seasons.

In 2009 the team had quaterfinalists in singles and doubles at the ITAs.

2008 Fall Midwest Regional Championshops-UWW had more teams in the round of 16 and the semi-finals than any other schools. They had 3 players in the round of 16, Ingrid Stensvaag, Annie Smith, and Kalla Schaefer. Stensvaag lost in the round of 16. Annie Smith advanced to the semifinals before losing to team-mate Schaefer 6-4, 6-0, after taking out three seeded players. Scheafer dominated the final winning 6-1, 6-0. In doubles our #2 team Stenvaag/Daciolas reached the quarterfinals before losing to the #1 seed. Our #1 team of Schaefer/Siemon won the consolation draw after beating Hook/Worsowicz in the final.

In 2009 the team had quaterfinalists in singles and doubles at the ITAs.
Individual Achievements
In 2008-09 season Kalla Schaefer was named an All-American after winning the fall regional ITA tournament, placing 7th at fall nationals, being invited to the singles NCAA tournament in the spring and being ranked in the top 25 nationally.

Ingrid Stensvaag twice earned Academic All-American Honors for her accomplishments in 2008-09 and 2009-10. She was also named the WIAC conference Scholar Athlete of the year.

Coach Barnes has been honored with the following awards:

USPTR member of the year in Wisconsin 2009
USTA Midwest Section Community Service Award 2006
USTA's Wisconsin Rollie Mueller Presidents Award 2006
K-Swiss National Pro of the Year 2001, 2002
Coach Barnes serves on the ITA regional ranking committee and the WTA Collegiate Committee
Named Wisconsin's Jr District Cup (formerly Jr Davis Cup) Coach for boys/girls 12 and under division.
