Last year, Stanford shocked the world by becoming the lowest-ranked team to win an NCAA team title. This year, Stanford was the No. 7 seed when they faced No. 1 Florida who had won the ITA National Indoor title. Florida lived up to its No. 1 seeding in the tournament, taking out Vanderbilt for the first time this season in the Final Four before winning a 4-1 match over the Cardinal.

This weekend, the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships get underway. 64 men's and women's college tennis teams will head to campus venues around the country to compete in first- and second-round action. With the help of Chris Young and Jamea Jackson, the Brooklyn, New York native become a catalyst for the rise of the Oklahoma State Cowgirls, who stormed their way to an NCAA runner-up finish this year. Now back on the pro circuit after a near-yearlong injury layoff, Rose is eager to prove she's no thorn.
