Countdown: Dividing Men's Scholarships
NCAA Division I Men's Tennis is an equivalency sport, meaning that for
a given program, scholarship money can be divided among many different
players. With the need to play six singles and three doubles - and
given a maximum of 4.5 scholarships - coaches can rarely award full
scholarships to recruits. We put the question to NCAA women's coaches:

Coachspeak: Considering the Proposed NCAA Changes
The NCAA Division I Tennis Committee recently proposed two changes to
the postseason tournament: (1) reduce the times for warm-ups and
changeovers and (2) alter the format of the final rounds so that only
four teams go to the final site rather than 16 - introducing regional
rounds on participant sites for the round of 16 and quarterfinals.
Today, college coaches from around the country weigh in on those
proposals.
