First American Collegiate Invitational Popular Addition to US Open
Any tournament with a prize that could include a US Open main draw wild card will draw the top college players regardless of its venue. Put that event at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center during the second week of the US Open and interest surges, as it did for the inaugural American Collegiate Invitational earlier this month.

June Aces
June starts with clay and ends on grass, at least for the top professionals and world-class juniors. But hard courts hosted their fair share of the month's top performances too with former college players and US teens building impressive winning streaks on both hard courts and the Har-Tru clay.

American Collegiate Invitational to Debut at US Open
When sixteen American collegians take the courts late in the second week of this year's American Collegiate Invitational at the US Open, they will enjoy the same perks and surroundings as professionals Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal. The college players will not share in the millions of dollars of prize money, but they can collect something the pros cannot - a guarantee of entry for the following year.

6-Jun-2014
May Aces
May produced a whopping 18 aces, with current and former college players highlighting last month's performances. Europe's red clay also hosted some notable achievements, as did the hard courts of Korea, Mexico and Tunisia.
